Refugee Resource provides training, supervision and consultation to teams and individual practitioners working with refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants affected by trauma and loss.

We can provide two forms of training. For a bespoke course for your organisation please get in touch and we can discuss what you need and where and when to deliver it.

Alternatively, in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, we run an accredited level 7 (masters) course for frontline professionals in all sectors to help them understand and work effectively with refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants who may have been traumatised by their experiences. Called ‘Rehumanising People in Extreme Situations’ it will next be delivered in October - November 2024 and involves two days together in Oxford on 11 October and 15 November and four 90 minute webinars providing interactive discussion of course material, on 18th and 25th October and 1st and 8th November. In addition to sharing 25 years of Refugee Resource’s experience of working with vulnerable migrants and underpinning that with necessary research findings, the course will also build a community of practice amongst participants and help participants protect their own wellbeing and avoid the risk of burnout and vicarious trauma.

The cost of the course is £375. Register by 12 September to secure your place.
